Wow... all these preparations for you can be quite tiring you know?
But then, I promise, we have enjoyed it throughout (look at our smiles!)

M&A Junior!

OK, for those who know me, you will know me as a natural-lighting girl, always on the mark to capture unpretentious real moments of joy. And I prefer to take photos either at the couple's home, as these is always something more that they can relate to, e.g. the little doll on the shelf, the cup that they have used... which will bring back memories when they look back at the photos later in life.

And yet, studio photography has it's own credits (e.g. the bright white light, the simple background and the more set up/artistic shots (e.g. flying veil) which will be harder to achieve at home).

I am quite happy with the results of Michelle & Abe's session - though most of the credit I must admit goes to beautiful MaMa! (and also sweet PaPa - I can really feel his love, joy and excitement throughout the time). 

Baby, you are a lucky bundle-of-joy, you know?

Summer. Sand. Sugary Sunset

After a week of solid rain, we are so glad to see the sun high up in the sky! 

Grandpa Sun was really nice to us that day, although it was a little hot to start with, we were welcomed with soft sea breeze and a warm, honey-gold sunset through the majority of the shoot.

I am so glad to be there at Baby Ali's first experience of the beach! First step on the sand, first touch of the sea water, first time building a sand castle (ok, more of a sand dune, but it was still FUN!)... these beautiful memories are forever to be treasured, by Baby Ali, MaMa, PaPa and also, by me.

4 generations, 1 beautiful family

Location: Podium of a private estate building

It's not easy to gather everyone for a family portrait, let alone having four generations in one shoot. 

A beautiful day, a beautiful location plus beautiful people with beautiful smiles, I am one lucky photographer.

Great-grandma's sweetness is what melts me right at the first moment I saw her. 

She holds me in her hands and said "thank you for taking our family portrait, it has been a while", her eyes sparkling with sincerity. To me, she is a true beauty, winning over any young models.

Seeing a couple who has been together for over half a century, holding each other strongly by the arms is --- pure magic. 

All my best wishes to this sweet family. 

I hope I will be there, when Great-grandma become great-great grandma and great-great-great grandma etc etc..., as this beautiful family grows.

It was such a FUN photoshoot, especially the part where Baby Kylie was basically fast asleep and that's when Mom and I started having fun with props. (Although it is true that I am born to be positive, so I tend to forget some other moments where we have to scream a little to catch the baby's attention ;)). 

BTW, did I ever mention that Mom is a designer too?

Our Little Mak turns One

What's sweeter than seeing a beautiful child grow.

From pregnancy to new born pictures and now to his first birthday, this is the third photo-session for this beautiful family.

I still recall how little Ethan reacts to my camera's clicking noise even when he was still in Mommy's tummy. And how delicate he was when he was just 14 days old. From his first smiles to his first steps, every shoot is enjoyable and yet every shoot is different.

(And guess what, Baby number 2 is on the way, I am already looking forward to the fourth session, when this baby becomes a brother.)
