This Bride ROCKS!

Location : Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong

It is often the case that I put a bit more attention to the bride in a Wedding~ (sorry Groom~) but it is even more so in this case, because? This Bride R-O-C-K-S!
Full of emotion, full of love. She is true to herself and her emotions, filling this wedding with laughter, with joy, with tears and with warm love and friendships.

The Morning:

"Yeah! This is my Wedding!" (Don't you just love the Bride's expressions!)

Tell me where you get those shoes, girlie

"Mum......please have tea!"

See how happy Grandma is!

Double image. Double happiness

Location : Cane Road, Hong Kong

Taken at a friend's wedding ceremony. Still remembering the days when we used to sit in a circle on the school grass lawn under the warm Australian sun - now we are both wives / wife-to-be. (How time flies!)

A very formal ceremony - spirital and poetic.
Only took a few snaps with my film SLR - but quantity is never of concern here - as long as there is one frame, one moment that captured the essence - the essence of time, of growth, of the journey.

Beautiful Church Interior!

Bride talking to friend after the formal ceremony. Congratulations!

Love the decorations. Must have taken a lot of time to prepare!
I love the almost film like sense of black & white wedding photography. So poetic

I don't care where you are from, I will love you forever

Location : Repulse Bay, Hong Kong (2nd time in a row!)

Bride is from France, Groom's family from SE Asia. Once again they've proven - LOVE has no boundaries.
Western banquets are lovely in that the guests are often more out there and happy to just have a great time. Love it (although Western dinner serving style does mean longer working hours!) Not a problem for me, as long as the results are great. :) I hope you like the pics as much as I do.

I do like the vintage look of the right photo...

The joy and the hug!:

I can see L-O-V-E in their eyes

Location : Repluse Bay, Hong Kong

First time in this lovely hotel in Repluse Bay and was lucky enough to photo-document the big day of this beautiful couple. Throughout the day, I can see how much love this couple has for each other~ Not just in words or in vows, but in their eyes and the smallest movements or actions......

 Love the background/foreground

So soft, so beautiful!
